Does the wood discolour if I stir strongly staining spices like turmeric or curry?
Like all untreated or oiled natural materials, lighter wood can develop a slight patina with very intense spices (e.g. turmeric, beetroot). This is a completely natural process and does not affect the quality in any way. It simply shows that your spoon is alive and being used intensively!
Is the mango wood cutlery dishwasher safe?
No, high-quality natural wood should never be put in the dishwasher. The aggressive salts and extreme heat would dry out the wood and make it crack. Simply wash the cutlery briefly by hand under warm water with a drop of mild dish soap and dry it immediately afterward. This way, cleaning only takes seconds.
How do I care for the wooden cutlery to keep it beautiful for a long time?
Care is delightfully uncomplicated.
